Valentines' Sugar Cookies

I love any holiday that allows me to have an excuse for cookies and Valentine's Day is the perfect example. Decorating sugar cookies is a common occurance in our house and the boys like to pitch in and help when they are not busy building lego or creating volcanic worlds out of playdough. Take these little cutie cookies. The boys got to add the sprinkles after I iced them. We couldn't possibly eat them all so we took some over to Ronald McDonald House for the children staying there and then ate a few ourselves. Yum!

And these, well, I did these for Taylor and Trevor's school friends as well as their teachers. Wrapped in a little cellophane, they make the perfect "Valentines" that the boys love to hand out.

And of course, the teachers need a coffee cup to go with their cookies. :-)
